The Internet is a Curious Place

When I first made the schedule that I wanted to follow for the forseeable future, I had no idea what I was doing. I just figured that routine is good for people, you know? To get into the habit of something makes you better at doing it. And at first I thought I'd pick things that teenagers and young adults care about, something that would make them come back and read. But for now, I've settled on things that interest me. And I'm trying to put a cool twist on them. So bear with me as I figure this all out. (You'll notice I already changed the schedule once. I'm a newbie, go easy.)

Neat things monday is meant to be about cool things that I find surfing on the web during time off (or during work, shhhh...). And for this week, I've found a few random things that piqued my interest. Enjoy.

Silent Password: Ever get tired of remembering all your passwords? I found this article as a result of searching for a place to keep all my random mixes of numbers and letters that apparently give me access to my accounts. Apparently, this company aims to make the password obsolete by inventing a randomized sound generator which serves as your virtual key. Pretty cool.

Thinnest Glass: A pair of scientists accidentally invented the thinnest piece of glass as a result of a gas leak in lab. It's so thin it's 2D. Can you imagine anything in the real world that's only 2D? That's incredible.

Foodie Instagrams: If any of you know me, you know I'm obsessed with instagram. Obsessed. These foodie instagrams look so good and are making me incredibly hungry. And I just ate.

Electric License Plates: Caught my eye because it's in California, and I can't help a bit of homesickness every now and then. Apparently, Jerry Brown has signed a bill allowing for electric license plates to be a reality at some time in the future! Some people are being total downers and suggesting this can result in hacking of plates, or whatever. But I personally think it's awesome that your plate could say if you're driving with a suspended license. Karma (no pun intended)! Plus the public Amber Alert announcements sound really practical.

Well, that's all for today folks! Have a great day!
