Introducing... deep thoughts

I’ve been blogging since about the third grade. Blogging then meant something entirely different from what it does now, both generally speaking, and as an industry. But I’ve ALWAYS felt my blog was just a space for me to scream my thoughts into the ether (if only so I could give my parents’ ears a break). As such, sometimes what I write is poignant, sometimes self-indulgant, sometimes altogether idiotic. And you, whoever you are, are just along for the ride. It’s hard not to feel then, like SNL’s Jack Handey.

When I was a kid and I’d say something stupidly profound my parent’s would always say, “WOW. Deep thoughts.” I never even watched a single sketch ‘til I was 15. This one’s my favorite.

Anyway. It’s been time for a change for a while. So because I realized every influencer and their mother titles their blogs “musings” I decided to go with a new name. Effective immediately.
