Laughter

The other day, while walking on the treadmill, I listened to a particularly interesting podcast by these broadcasters, Jad Abumrad and Robert Krulwich, about laughter. They explained that Aristotle once thought we were the only creatures to laugh, and that was what distinguished us from the rest of the animals in the world. Soon after, they disproved the famous philosopher by talking to scientists who studied rats, and what makes rats laugh. On and on the podcast went, in a story like fashion, telling the listener about all that concerned laughter. And on and on I walked, listening, as if in a trance, not even noticing that an hour had gone by. All this is just to say, you should really listen to the podcast, whoever you are, reading this blog. That is if you're there at all. Anyway, I just thought I'd give a shout out to RadioLab, the show that those two broadcasters are on. They are capable of making learning so easy and fun. I'd talk more about what they taught me, but I don't want to ruin it for you! Listen and learn.

Oh and just for kicks and giggles, (no pun intended), here's a picture of me laughing.

I know you're wondering how I'm so cute.
